"Silent Eagle Claw!"
"Phoenix Armada!"
"Sapphire Shark Attack!"
"Emerald Taurus!"
"Crystal Unicorn Horn!"
All 5 launched their attacks at Zach and his friends. "WACK! Hide!" Zach ordered and all jumped away.
"So you want to fight me Faye?" Derak jumped up. "Fine! I'll guarantee you that you'll stay dead!"
"You shall not hurt innocent beings for your selfish needs!" Mika pointed at Dolan.
"You can't stop us!" Dolan yelled back.
"You don't know what it's like being dead!" Nuria clenched her hands together. "It was not our time! We died too young!"
"We can't allow you to warn others." Aure decided.
"Fine." Moka said back. "Then this is the ultimate battle!" He raised his hands. "Typhoon Rage!"
"Star Storm Cyclone!" Aure yelled and both attacks rushed at each other!
"Nuria, I don't wish to fight you." Zach told her. "But if you won't stop this madness, I will!"
"Stop yapping; this is not your choice!" Nuria put her hands before her. "Fire Wheel!" With her arms she made a wheel around her body and launched the attack.
The attack hit Zach and Zach slammed backwards. "Nice one Nuria, but there is one little thing you never counted on..."
"And that may be, chatterbox?" Nuria insulted him.
"I DO fight back!" Zach stated. "Slash Bash!" He ran at the girl with a fiery fist, punching her in the face. Scorching her already dead skin, Nuria fell on the ground and slid away from him. Zach was relieved that he managed to hurt her.
Suddenly Nuria looked back, with eyes that were more deadly than a scorpion's sting. Just seeing her beautiful bright eyes with such hatred made Zach cold on the inside; shivering more then ever. She stood up, stepping aside one step to maintain her balance, and raised her hand.
Her hand showed the ring that had given her the powers to control his mind. She tried to lure him into a trap, but he managed to snap out of it just in time. The swirl in the ruby started once more, but now stronger than ever! Zach could feel the heat from Nuria powering up!
"Red..." Nuria started.
"Future Fire!" Zach yelled and launched a fireball the size of a tennis ball.
"Ruby..." Nuria gathered more energy.
The ball of fire exploded and Nuria flew backwards. She screamed, but managed to land on her feet. Crouching, she ended her spell: "RING!"
Swirls of fire escaped from the ring and captured Zach in the most deadly attack he had ever been thus far.
"You can't expect to win from me Zach..." Nuria watched Zach getting hurt from her attack. "... when I've already won!"
Faye jumped up and kicked Derak in the face. Agile, she flipped backwards, landing on her hands and then leaping on her feet again. She immediately prepared for an attack: "Earthquake Destruction!"
Because of the attack Derak lost his balance and he fell on the ground. "You call that an Earthquake?" Derak smiled. "THIS is an earthquake! Rumbling Voice!" He smashed on the ground with both fists and released his attack.
Boulders of stone bashed against the girl that was like a Venus Fly Trap to a fly. She had lured him in with sweet words, and Derak did not forgive that! Plus, she stole his sunglasses, and Derak could not allow that.
Faye lay on the floor, moaning for a second, before she got up. Her eyes showed thunder all over and she showed her bracelet. She held it horizontal before her chest, and started reciting, gathering up energy. "Green..."
"Gaia's Rose!" Derak launched his attack and the vines coming from the rose captured the girl; wrapping themselves around her body.
However, even though her energy got drained, she kept on reciting her spell. "Emerald..." She had trouble saying it, but she kept on talking!
"Green Leaf Kick!" Derak yelled and released the drained energy.
The green ball rushed at Faye, but her eyes snapped open. Seconds before the attack would hit her, she finished her spell: "BRACELET!"
And with massive force, her attack did not only simply wipe out Derak's attack, but also captured Derak in her spell... And for the first time in anyone's memory, they could hear Derak's voice echo through the cave...
"I can't believe you did this to me!" Moka yelled and launched another attack. "Thunder Wings!"
"It's a free world Moka." Aure stopped his attack. "Don't tell me you disliked it. After all... you still don't have a girlfriend, do you?"
"What has that to do with this?!" Moka bit on his teeth.
"Everyone of your friends have someone they love, but you are still all alone!"
"You are trying to make me insecure by talking." Moka smirked. "That means you are not as powerful as you claim!"
"You think that Moka?" Aure flipped her hair backwards, showing her earrings.
"I know that!" Moka laughed.
"Then stop talking and prove me you are right!" Aure closed her eyes. "White..."
Moka raised his arms. "Typhoon Rage!" He yelled.
"Diamond..." Light swirled around the earrings, while wind danced around her. "EARRINGS!"
"You know, I've been through the whole circle now!" Kitt snapped at Qing Yuan. "I liked you, I hated you, liked you again and heck, now I hate you again!" She gathered her powers; water danced around her. "You were a siren, trying to lure me into the depths of the ocean, but I..."
"You really do talk a lot."
Startled, the water around Kitt splashed down. "Hey, I was insulting YOU! Don't interrupt me then!"
"I hate wasting my time." He folded his hands and water gathered around him. "Sapphire Dawn Dance!"
"My turn!" Kitt smiled. "Wave Crasher!"
Both attacks clashed against each other; letting it rain inside the cave. But, Qing Yuan didn't waste any time. Through the splashing water he rushed forward and Kitt could barely avoid his fist. Silence then fell among them. They observed each other, until Qing Yuan did the first move again. His leg went forward, and Kitt could only avoid it by ducking. Then she grabbed his leg and pushed it upwards.
Qing Yuan did a nice back flip and landed back on his feet, getting into a fighting stance again. Kitt jumped forward, landed on her hands and pushed herself in the air again. She twirled around, but Qing Yuan stopped her leg with his arms and pushed her down.
"This takes too long." Qing Yuan took his necklace.
"Ditto." Kitt agreed and let her trident appear.
"Blue..."
"Aqua..."
"Sapphire..."
"Dragon..."
"NECKLACE!"
"LOVE!"
Both attacks got launched at the same time and both smiled vain. But soon, one smile vanished... when Qing Yuan's attack simply drowned Kitt's dragon...
Mika had a lot of trouble fighting Dolan; she was not used to fighting at all! 'The belt...' She suddenly thought, 'that's where his power comes from! If I manage to destroy it...'
Dolan pulled his hands back. "Dark Spirit Chaos!" And he pushed them forward again, releasing his strong attack.
Mika dove down and rolled over the floor. But, she quickly adapted and when she got up again, she was near Dolan's belt. "Splendour Sparks!" She yelled, having her hands very close to the gem.
Dolan smashed backwards, and hit the wall. Mika jumped up from joy, but soon noticed the battle was not over yet! "That was nice move Mika." Dolan flipped his hair up. "But these jewels cannot be destroyed! Dark..."
"Charm Chaos!"
"Crystal.... BELT!"
Silence. All that anyone could hear was silence. It seemed like everything around Mika went entirely black, while only she was visible. She felt the attack hitting her body, blasting her backwards.
With incredible force, all 5 friends bashed against each other at the same time. They coughed; all having their eyes closed. In the background they could hear the laughter from the undead youngsters around them.
"This can't be happening..." Kitt complained.
"What are we doing wrong?" Zach added.
"How can you beat someone who is already dead?" Mika felt sore and broken.
Derak coughed some more. "The jewels give them strength... if only we could separate them from their jewels..."
"Any suggestions how?" Zach liked to know. "They are stronger than we are!"
All turned to Moka, who had been silent till then. "Already working overtime..." He told them, and then little stars of joy appeared in his eyes. "I think we've been fighting the wrong person..."
"You mean there is a boss?!" Mika exclaimed fearful.
Kitt's eyes sparkled too. "I think I know what you mean!" She smiled.
"Eh... I don't..." Zach admitted, but Kitt and Moka had already jumped up.
"It's time you and I have a little talk Nuria..." Kitt smiled devilish.
"And I can assure you Dolan..." Moka stepped before him.
"It's not going to be a pleasant one!" Derak was eager to fight again, looking at Qing Yuan.
"All right!" Zach laughed and jumped up, standing before Faye. "This time, we'll wing it our way!"
"What is that supposed to mean?!" Kitt suddenly snapped at him.
Zach felt really small. "I don't know... I just thought it sounded cool..."
"You guys!" Derak ordered them, stopping their childish fight.
Mika nodded. Her eyes went determent and she stepped firm forward. "Playtime is over Aure. You messed with Moka... now I shall mess with you!"
