From all the Guardians, we know the most of Lady Gaia's true past. She was a young girl who married in her late teens to her beloved, with the permission of her parents. It was obvious this was an exception and that the humans on Serenay Moon don't usually marry this young. This story (special XXVI) also shows her husband put a memorial stone up for her, so it's safe to assume all families moved on, thinking their children were not just missing, but also dead.
Within the group, Lady Gaia often takes the caring role of a mother. She loves to knit and be a housewife, often taking a mother-role over Chibi Luna, the preffered side of Lady Luna. Her test was about caring and love, getting stronger when attacked, but helpless when not attacked.

Weapon: Earth Hammer and she has a lot of animal friends, whom she calls Mr. or Mrs., like Mr. Frog and Mr. Spider.
