"Good morning!" Happily Kitt walked down the stairs.

Zach was on the couch watching TV. "Good morning." He greeted from there. All of a sudden Kitt kissed him on the cheek. "Eh... why?" He could only say and ask.

"Because of that awesome dinner last night." Kitt jumped aside him on the couch. "I can't make Chinese food even if my life depended on it. But your meal was just... awesome! Beyond words!!"

Zach felt he became red. "Hehe, thanks!" He grinned.

"Stop grinning like a sheep." Kitt smiled and poked him.

"GOOOOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!" And this was Kitt's cue to let her mood drop to thunder within milliseconds. Mika skipped down the stairs and jumped on the couch. She grabbed the remote control, and zapped towards an other channel. "Oooh!" She happily said. "It's Super Fox!" She tucked on Zach's shirt. "I just love that girl so much! She can turn into a super fox-heroine and is sooooo smart!"

"Unlike some people we know..." Kitt mumbled and Zach sighed.

Not much later Moka came down as well. "How's Derak?" Kitt wondered.

"I think he's still asleep." Moka sat down on a fauteuil. "I didn't go inside his room. My health insurance doesn't cover hearing damaged by snoring. It sounded like snoring anyway."

"Moka....?" Zach and Kitt already noticed what Mika was trying. Would Moka be able to resist it this time? "I'm thirsty, could you get me something to drink please?" Zach and Kitt moved their eyes towards Moka. What would he do... would he...? Nope.

"Sure." Moka stood up, and left for the kitchen.

Kitt's brain started to work on this early morning. "Zach, I'm thirsty." She tried.

"Yeah, me too. Take something along for me, will you?" He replied and deep inside he enjoyed Kitt's grumbling.

In the kitchen, Moka took a glass and poured some milk in it. He wanted to leave for the room again, until he noticed a small piece of paper. Curious as he was, he took the piece of paper and looked at it. At first his eyes widened up, but then a smile replaced his astounded face. A devilish smile.

"Here you go Mika!" Moka handed Mika her glass of milk while she focused back on the TV. "Hey Zach, I've got to compliment you on the dinner you made last night."

"Eh... not necessary." Zach sweated. "Not really. It was nothing."

"But I disagree!" Moka smiled and sat down in the chair again. "It must have been an awful lot of work!"

"Well, everything for my friends!" Zach grinned and tried to change the subject. "Hey, did you know..."

"I mean," Moka continued. "Dialling all those numbers must have been very tiring!"

How Zach wished he could slip through the couch right now, and that he would get lost in the world of the cushions of the couch (after all, more stuff vanishes in that tiny space!). "What do you mean?" Kitt wondered, and Moka handed her the piece of paper. "ASIAN CHOW MENG?!" She burst out.

"He, he, he..." Zach laughed sweating and sheepish.

Kitt glared at him. "YOU ORDERED TAKE OUT?!" She added.

"Hush, I can't hear it!" Mika tried. "This is the part where she transforms into a fox! With tail and snout, let truth prevail!" She said along with the girl on the screen.

From the corner of his eyes, Zach saw Moka enjoying this scene. He could escape no where! On his left was Mika, caught in her own little anime world, and on his right was his own Kitt... who he knew so well...

"Zach..." Kitt started, and bend over. "I cannot tolerate this!" Her hand went aside. "I must punish you for this!" All of a sudden a pillow hit Zach on his head.

"Ow!" Zach laughed and grabbed his own pillow. "I am allowed to defend myself!" He then hit Kitt with his own pillow.

Kitt laughed and grabbed another pillow that she threw at Zach. Zach ducked, and the pillow hit Mika. Mika lost all concentration for the anime and threw a pillow back. Her pillow hit Moka.

"Hey, why involve me?!" Moka yelled and threw back the pillow.

"Because it's more fun!" Kitt grinned and a pillow fight emerged in seconds. Pillows flew from once side to another, and the TV was forgotten. Quickly, between 2 pillow-smashes, Zach put out the TV (why waste energy?).

In the mean while, Derak had woken up. Still groggy, he reached the stairs. "Good morning..." Derak yawned. "I think... at least... is it Wednesday today? I think I missed Wednesday..." And then a pillow hit him in the head.

All of a sudden Derak was completely awake. "Hey you guys, grow up!" He yelled and stormed down. "If you have a pillow fight, do it right!" And he too joined the pillow fight.

"Good morning Derak!" Mika cheered. "I thought you were going to sleep through this Friday as well!!"

"It's Friday already?!" Derak gasped, but had no more time to think.

The pillow fight lasted for a few more minutes, until it got disturbed. "Did you feel that too?"  Zach asked, but then it got worse!

The ground started shaking, and the rumble filled the entire house!! "Earthquake!!" Derak yelled. "Everybody outside!!"

Obeying the oldest of the group, everybody hurried outside. Paintings fell from the wall, and a ceiling lamp broke off. It crashed down in an aquarium, and caused a blackout in the entire house. Plaster fell from the ceiling and the wall, and turned the house into an entire dump...

After a short while the earthquake had ended. "That was scary..." Kitt whispered, holding herself close to Zach. "Is it over now?"

Derak nodded. "Yeah, I can feel it's over." But deep inside he was worried. What if he was wrong? After all, he hadn't been that good in predicting earthquakes.

"Do you think it's safe to get back inside?" Zach asked Derak.

Derak raised his shoulders. "It was a quite heavy one. Maybe, if we're careful..."

The others nodded. Derak was right. It was dangerous to go back inside a house after an earthquake, but there was no other house in the surrounding! Where else could they go? Carefully they looked inside. "A power blackout..." Moka noticed when he saw the darkness. He stepped over some barrels.

Zach put his thumb on fire and used it as a flashlight. "And I guess I see what caused it."

Kitt looked over his shoulder. "Awe man!" She complained. "I just bought that aquarium!" She saw the water and the lamp.

"I put out the electricity!" Derak yelled from behind a door. "It should be safe now!"

"Good thing you didn't buy fishes yet." Mika said to Kitt.

"Yeah..." Kitt sighed. “Would have been much worse than this.”

"Hey look!" Moka showed a battery operated radio. "Let's check out the news! Maybe the town is way worse off then we are!"

Zach nodded. "Great idea." He smiled.

Moka turned on the radio. He checked the channels, but on all stations was music! "Let's clean things up." Derak suggested and all started cleaning.

After a while, the news finally came. "Good Morning Everybody! This is your DJ of FUN, DJ Funny-Guy!!! Hehe, so, how are you all? It promises to be a sunny day!! So, here's the news! The Major has decided to give more funds to the schools; he's one spiff guy! Anyway, the kids of the Majorina Town School decided to compose a song just for him! I tell you guys, if it was summer, this could have been the new summer hit, but right now, it's already steaming anyway!!!"

Everybody stared at the radio with confused looks. "Eh... this IS our local station, isn't it?" Kitt was the one to ask.

The tune of the radio station echoed through the room. "Eh... I think so." Moka checked the radio.

"I think the major is spiff too!" Mika smiled. "Those nice kiddies are composing a song for him!"

Zach stared at her. "Eh, Mika, just a thought, but eh... our house has just been messed up by an earthquake... why doesn't the news mention an earthquake?"

"Maybe it hasn't reached them yet." Mika smiled and threw away some glass.

"Does this qualify as odd?" Derak wondered. "Because if it does, maybe we should contact the Guardians."

"Any suggestions how?" Moka wondered.

Far, far away, a hand went over the table. "Let's scare them one more time..."

"Mm, maybe we should try and call the Moon Tournament Information Line." Zach suggested. "Maybe we can ask Nova Young."

"And you really think they are going to give us her number?!" Kitt exclaimed.

"Guys..." Derak started.

"Well, do you know anything better?"

"Guys..."

"But your idea is stupid!"

"Guys!"

"You don't even have an idea!"

"GUYS LOOK OUT!" Derak yelled.

Again the house started rumbling; much more vicious then ever before. The TV, till this moment still in one piece, fell on the ground and released a few sparkles of the energy that was left behind. In the kitchen, kitchen-wear fell from the shelves and crashed on the floor.

"Everybody get out!" Zach ordered.

Again everybody obeyed. They jumped over the junk they had just cleaned up a bit, and once again they ran for their lives. "Hurry up!" Kitt yelled, when she noticed Moka was behind.

All of a sudden the ceiling plaster fell down on top of Moka. Kitt turned around, even though it was very stupid and dangerous to do. She heard a soft moan above everything and quickly grabbed the boy from the floor.

Risking her life for her friend, Kitt hurried outside and when she thought they were safe, she kneeled at the ground. "Moka, are you okay?!" Mika hurried at him.

Moka coughed a bit. "I'm... I'm okay." He coughed.

"No you're not!" Mika yelled panicking. "You're bleeding! Oh no! You have a cut!"

"Really Mika, I feel fine!"

"HUSH!" Mika ordered. She placed her hand on his forehead. "Healing Heart!" Pink energy emitted from her hand and started to heal Moka's wound.

"Guys..." Derak motioned Zach and Kitt to come closer. "I'm not so sure about this but... well..."

"Is it something we like to know?" Kitt asked annoyed.

Zach sighed. "What is it? Something unusual about the earthquake?"

Derak scratched his head. "Well... eh... just back then I could feel where the epicentre of the earthquake was."

"Just let me guess..." Kitt sighed.

Derak nodded. "Right underneath our house."

Zach thought for a second. "That's quite odd."

"Oh, you thought that was odd?" Derak continued. "Remember the news?" Zach and Kitt nodded. "THIS is odd: the earthquake was only here! At this spot!"

"Only our house?!" Kitt exclaimed. "I KNEW there was something creepy about that insurance guy..."

"If what you're saying is true..." Moka joined them. "Then it's not safe here." Derak nodded. "We should get out of here! Who knows, maybe the next moment trees will fall on top of us!"

"I don't think I can heal things like that..." Mika mumbled.

"Then it's decided." Zach said. "We're getting out of here. And we'll contact the Guardians a.s.a.p. !" Zach turned around and headed for the forest; the shortest way to town.

Everybody wanted to get out of that place as soon as possible. Earthquakes that were set on killing them was not something they liked to spend their day with. They all ran through the forest, among the thick trees.

Zach turned around a tree, but suddenly bashed against something or someone. He fell against Kitt, and both fell on the ground. "Ow... that hurts..."

"Great, that was the only place that wasn't bruised yet!" Kitt snarled.

"Oh no, I'm really sorry!" Zach looked up and saw a girl with brown hair. "Are you all right?"
