Kitt and Mika were sitting on the bench of a river. They had just woken up and they were getting ready for breakfast.   "I still can't believe it." Kitt sighed, brushing her hair. "Ryu wasn't so bad after all... why did they kill him? It's not fair!"

Mika sighed, powdering her face. "I know, it's hard losing friends. But you know who killed him."

"Courage." Kitt growled. "She'll pay for that!"

Suddenly, they heard Zach calling for them. "Mika, Kitt, breakfast."

Mika jumped up, cheering like a child. "He called me first! He called me first!" She turned to Kitt. "Zach likes me more than he likes you!"

Kitt started to boil. "Stop dreaming." She growled. "Zach is my boyfriend!"

Mika laughed. "You?" She brushed her hair one more time. "Come on, you are too immature!!" And she walked away.

"I'm not immature!" Kitt yelled. She looked at her reflection, and took the bands that had hold her 2 pigtails out of her hair. She looked at them for a moment. "I'm not immature!" She growled and decided to keep her hair loose.

"Hey, Kitt, there you are!" Zach smiled. "Hey, what's with your hair?"

In her bad mood, Kitt snapped at Zach. "Don't like it? Not my problem. I am too old for pigtails anyway."

Mika looked at Kitt. She giggled softly. Silently, all started having breakfast.

In the afternoon, all were on their way to the NightWing Castle and Queen Blackheart. Wandering through the forests, Zach was trying to find the way, while Derak played a happy tune on his flute. Mika chatted on and on against Moka, who didn't listen, but ate some cookies. Only Kitt was silent. "I'm not immature." She said again.

"Did you say something Kitt?" Zach asked.

"No!" Kitt mumbled. "And where the hell are we?"

Zach sweat dropped. "Ehm... I ...ehm..."

"You got us lost again?" Kitt yelled. "That's it! From now on, I'm going to take the lead!" She pushed Zach aside. "Out of my way!" She growled. "And we are going this way!"

Courage looked in Ryu's old Crystal Ball. "Have you ever tried this Tempus?" She smiled. "It's better than television!"

"Don't waste your time here." Tempus said with a dark voice. "I've had it with those kids. They killed Aletheia and Ryu."

Courage laughed. "Don't worry, I have a plan."

"It’d better work, I won't tolerate any mistakes again!"

Courage looked at the Crystal Ball. "They are walking right in my trap....With their eyes wide open."

"A village!" Moka pointed. "Look, Kitt found a village!"

Zach was annoyed, Kitt had done a better job than he? He felt so angry. Kitt smiled confident, with her hair waving in the wind. "Well, it was about time someone MATURE took the lead."

Zach laughed. "You? Mature?" He laughed even louder.

Kitt was very angry, but just turned away. Moka and Derak looked at it. "Did you see that?" Derak asked. "This isn't the real Kitt. She always punches someone who insults her."

"Maybe she really has become mature." Moka thought.

Mika giggled. "You guys are idiots!" She giggled. "She isn't mature, she pretends to be mature." She looked at Kitt, who angry kicked against a tree. She kicked it so hard, that all the nuts fell out of it.

All gathered again and headed for the village. Strangely, it looked deserted.

"It looks like a Ghost Town." Derak mumbled. 'Are you with us now Liz?' , he thought, 'Are you even now trying to protect us?'

"Well done Kitty!" Mika exclaimed. "You brought us to a Ghost Town!" She clutched to Zach.

"Let him go!" Kitt yelled suddenly. All looked at her with a questioning face. Kitt restored herself. "ehm...because Zach has to look on the map Ryu's used to trick us a few days ago."

Zach nodded and took his map. "Any idea where to look for?"

"How about for a Ghost Town, or any other empty and deserted villages?" Moka joked. Derak laughed along.

Kitt and Mika looked at them. "What's with them?" Kitt asked. "They act like they have been best friends for years!"

"New problems ask for changes." Mika smiled. "But they don't ask for a complete make-over!" Kitt looked at Mika wondering, but Mika just smiled.

Kitt turned to Zach. "Found anything?"

"Ghost Town..." Zach mumbled.

Kitt smacked him upside his head. "You don't have to look on the map for that! It's not like this town is called Ghost Town or close to that."

"No, there is a place on the map called Ghost Town!" Zach said, rubbing his head. "This place is called Ghost Town!" He pointed at the map. "Look, Ghost Town, empty and deserted village."

"Oh great Kitt!" Mika sneered. "You led us to dust and spiders!"

"At least now we know where we are!" Kitt angry answered. "Come on, since there is nothing here, lets just cross this town."

All followed Kitt and they walked through the streets. After a while, Zach checked his map again. "Mm, on the map, this town isn't that big. We should have been out of here by now."

Derak pointed to a board. "Look, there is a town map there." He ran at it, but gasped when he saw it.

"What's wrong?" Moka asked, but when he joined him, he gasped too. On the map, they saw a lot of houses and streets, and a lot of arrows with lines!

One said: 'You are not here, try again'. Another said. 'This is the grocery shop from another town.' Other arrows said: 'You might be here.' 'The saloon is not here, but across the street', while the arrow across the street said: 'The saloon might be here, but it's actually across the street.'

"What is this?" Zach asked. "Look at all those streets. It's just like a maze!"

Suddenly, they heard laughing and they turned around. Behind them stood a young woman with reddish eyes and brown hair, tied in one long ponytail. She wore a beautiful armor. "Courage." Derak softly whispered.

"Indeed." Courage laughed. "It's me! The best of the 4 Ancient Warriors, and the one who will lead you to your doom!"

Zach turned to his team. "Don't worry, remember what the Ladies said? Courage doesn't have magical powers!"

Courage laughed again, it started to hurt their ears! "I may not have magical powers, but I do have this!" She snapped with her fingers. Among her, a lot of stone soldiers appeared. "And there is a lot more where that came from!"

"They are not humans!" Moka smiled. "We can hurt them as much as we want!" He gathered his powers. "Typhoon Rage!" However, nothing happened.

Courage laughed AGAIN. "Stop laughing!" Mika demanded.

As an answer, Courage laughed. "You are in no position to give me any commands." She showed a necklace. "As long as I have this gem, you can't use your powers, unless I decide otherwise. You are helpless!" She pointed at them. "Go, my soldiers! Make your commander proud!"

The stone men walked at them, slowly, but steady. "We should fight them!" Zach yelled.

"But how?" Derak wanted to know. "They are made of stone, this not a computer game like 'Tricks and Traps' I had on my computer when I was young."

Suddenly, a stone warrior dove at them. All jumped aside. Mika turned away and started running. "Mika, no!" Moka yelled, "We must stay together!" He followed her, but was soon lost among the millions of streets. Derak had run up another way, just like Kitt and Zach.

"Shattered..." Courage started. "They are nothing!" She turned to the sky. "See this Tempus, my plan is perfect! Better think of a dazzling reward!"

'I'll think about it...when you've destroyed them.' Tempus answered with his gloomy voice.

Courage laughed and send out more stone soldiers after the others.

Derak quickly ran through the streets. Suddenly he stopped and looked around. "I'm all alone!" He noticed. When he turned around, he saw a few stone warriors behind him. He jumped into a small street. "I feel a little power in my hands; Courage must have left down her guard!" He kneeled down and touched the floor. "I need a trap." He quickly shaped a pit in the ground, however, a thin piece of ground stayed where it was.

When he looked up, the rock warriors were already there. Derak jumped back and started running, however, he hadn't seen he had run into a dead-end street! The warriors came closer, but, as planned, fell into the trap. Derak was relieved and jumped over the pit. Though, one of the warriors grabbed his leg and Derak hit the ground hard.

Derak felt that the warrior was pulling him towards his own pit. Derak grabbed the only thing that was in reach, a large barrel full with water and threw it at them.

The warriors let go of Derak and Derak quickly crawled back up. When he looked up, he saw that the street was no longer a dead end! "Huh?" Derak exclaimed, but then discovered the secret of Courage! The streets were moving! "The city is alive!" Derak concluded. "I must tell the others!"

Then he saw that the stone warriors crawled out of the pit. Derak ran towards the streets, but then was blocked by another pile of warriors. All came closer to him.

In the mean while, Kitt crashed down against a wall. She was all alone. Softly she sniffed. "I led them into a trap." She sniffed. "My stupid jealousy led them to doom!" Suddenly, she tied her hair back into 2 pigtails. "I'm not mature, Mika is right." She stood up and looked around. "At least I'm not mature yet." Then she headed off to find the others, while Mika, Moka and Zach decided to do the same.

Courage stood on the roof, looking at Derak, surrounded by rock warriors. "The Soldier of Earth will go first." She decided, when she suddenly spotted Derak's flute! "It can't be!" She cursed. She jumped down. "You know, it would be a waste to destroy such a pretty flute. If you give it to me, I might let you live."

Derak thought about it. "Yeah, like totally no way! This flute is for good people only."

"You stupid twerp !" Courage yelled angry. "If you don't give me that flute, I'll hurt you until you cry for your stupid mother!"

Angry, Derak took his flute. "Never mess with my mother!" He yelled. "You want this flute? Then you can have it...if you can get it!" Derak placed the flute at his lips and played a very high tone. Courage covered her ears, screaming from agony!

The other stone warriors didn't cover their ears. Suddenly, one of them lost an arm. Another one lost a leg. Slowly, they started to fall into pieces. Derak saw what happened. 'They can't handle the high tones!', he thought and tried to play as long as possible. When he had no breath left, the only thing that was left of Courage's army, was nothing more than a pile of dust and pebbles. Derak turned around and started to run away.

Courage slowly crawled up. "My ears..." She cursed. "I'll get you, stupid twerp! I will defeat you!"

However, from the sky, there was a dark voice: 'Courage', it growled.

Courage sweat dropped. "Ehm...Tempus, Sire, don't worry, I haven't even started yet. Don't worry, I won't let you down."

Tempus looked at the hourglass in his hand. "You'd better don't let me down." He said. "But time is running out for you."
