The IceHunters - Dutch Secret Service - Teria's 'Tribe' - Other

I am still planning this book, so there will be a lot more characters! I just don't know them by name yet.

Konoai Anne-Marie Ytoganti-Kymah

Eye colour: Grey, with a hint of blue
The 14th Chieftess of the IceHunters is an odd one. More than once it seems like she has a split personality. When she's on Earth, she acts like life is nothing more than a harmless game. When she's on Seken, she suddenly takes life seriously... maybe too seriously! Konoai feels like she needs to be the best in everything and can't stop practising.
Konoai has been through quite a lot; during her 500 years of life she almost died once a year. Konoai is not a bad fighter but does attract the most powerful fighters of Seken; both magically as well as physically. Stubborn till the end, Konoai's will to protect her tribe is the only thing that managed to keep her alive. Still, Konoai feels alone and would like nothing more than to find her Sonaī.
Konoai can be considered a control freak. As long as she feels she's in charge, Konoai is quite confident (Earth). But as soon as she loses control, she sometimes tends to be insecure.

B.

B.'s full name is Rebecca 'Becky' Shinsei Dartmond. This Earth girl dislikes all her names except Shinsei, because that name was given by Konoai. She goes by the name of B. and hates Earth no matter what. Emotionally abused by her parents, Seken is an escape for the girl. She lost faith in humans and only lets a few tribe members get close to her. B. thinks she has no value whatsoever and took refuge in the library. She is now the memory of the IceHunters: keeping the logs, remembering the past in order to prevent repeating mistakes and taking care of the library. She also is considered 'the cat lady', as she holds various cats in the library. The cats rarely ever get out there, which is a wise thing, considering the wolf pack that also lives in the castle.

Serena Saichi

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Depends on the weather. On MorningSnow it's usually Ice Blue because of the eternal snow, on a Dutch rainy day it's usually brown.
Eye colour: Green
Born out of almost every Seken race, Serena is the most unique creature on both Earth and Seken! Her heritage lays within Yndian, Unica, Elves and an Earth human. Due to all this mixed magic, Serena's skills have yet to be found. Thus far it is known her hair colour changes accordingly with the weather. Her ever changing hair can be handy because of Seken storms, but most of the times Serena is the last one to find out because she can't see her own hair. Most of the time her hair is an ice-blue colour and it's presumed that's her natural hair colour. Serena loves Earth but has to be careful because of her ever changing hair.
Along with her changing hair, Serena also has double pointed ears which she has to hide when going to Earth. Because Serena is such a mixbreed she has a love for cultures and languages. Serena speaks most Earth languages fluently and often translates when needed. Along with B., Serena is in charge of the library. While B. takes care of the Seken part, Serena takes care of the Earth part, which is in the hidden Alchemist Room. She gathers books and other multimedia and takes care of the computer that's placed there.
Serena is a confident girl by heart; often smiling and humming. If she could, she would dance most of the day.

Randy

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Dark Brown
Eye colour: Undecided
Randy was born out of two Earthlings. Her parents were amazing inventors and took care of most inventions that are hidden on MorningSnow. Randy however was not that handy and most of the time managed to break things. During her teenage years, she felt terribly ill. Since Konoai was not present, Randy's parents left MorningSnow hoping to find the herb that would cure their daughter. They found it, but were caught by a deadly storm. They hid the herb underneath a tree alongside the goggles her mother/father used and let The IceHunters telepthically know where it was. They were never seen again...
However, the moment her parents' message reached MorningSnow, Randy changed. She went to the project her parents couldn't finish, the Healing Tank... and simply finished it. From that moment it seemed like a switch was turned and Randy took the place of her parents... surpassing both!
Even though Konoai blaims herself for the event, Randy does not, and is a fairly cheerful girl. She is sometimes quite excentric but would do anything for her tribe.

Sherry

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Dark Brown
Eye colour: Brown
One of the oldest IceHunters, who reached MorningSnow during the reign of Yuki. Born in the desert, the girl heard a calling. Called by MorningSnow, the girl left everything behind and crossed the sea of sand and the green world all by herself. To an outsider it would seem this quiet and calm girl has no meaning, but Sherry is one of the most important inhabitants! She is not only the cook, but also the midwife AND caretaker! When Yuki passed away, Sherry immediately took care of the little Ike. When Ike passed away, Sherry hesitated no second and took the little Konoai in. She is considered a mother by most of the tribe; going to her when they need advise or a shoulder to cry on.
When Teria was born, Sherry became sort of Teria's "second mother". Both Konoai, Martin and Sherry take an equal role in Teria's growth. Sherry's 'strength' is her everlasting patience, calm nature, and knowledge of etiquette. Sherry is, in fact, the woman behind the woman, which is in this case Konoai.

Cat

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Blond, with purple and blue streaks
Eye colour: Base colour undecided, but one is slowly turning blue and the other purple.
Cat is a calm herbalist, who often worked together with Randy when she developed the Healing Tank. She knows almost absolutely every herb there's on Seken and Earth. When Konoai is away, Cat usually is the healer of the tribe. Cat has a rare illness and no one knows if it's contagious. Her DNA is slowly changing from Earth into Seken. From the outside, this means her blond hair slowly changes to blue and purple. Her eyes also get a blue and purple colour. No one knows what happens when the mutation is complete. Will her personality also change, or will she remain who she is from the inside?

Kiki

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Brown
Eye colour: Yellow
Kiki is one of the rare Energy-Users of Seken, who can create shields. The bigger the shields, the more focus it takes, but luckily Kiki gets practise enough. Kiki can create a shield big enough to protect MorningSnow, but that size takes so much energy and focus, she can only maintain it if she puts herself into a coma, rendering her helpless. She is the only one who can protect MorningSnow if Konoai is absent, but if Konoai doesn't return in time, Kiki will die. And when Kiki dies, the shield will vanish as well. And if the attackers manage to break the shield... Kiki is the first one who dies...

Kaleeh

Eye colour: Undecided
Kaleeh has a secret. She was born on Seken, but also died there. Kaleeh is in fact a Blood Demon, a lost soul who was recruted by Yunakara to hunt down people who were a threat to Seken peace. Kaleeh gradually changed opinions and since disagreeing with Yunakara means having a death wish, Kaleeh fled to the only place she knows that could be safe: MorningSnow. Now she more or less acts like Konoai's big sister; the only one who can scold her.
Kaleeh can change her looks from demon into a normal human girl and whenever she is on Earth, she is a freelace photographer. Kaleeh dreams of having a family and she falls for a certain guitar player from Earth, but undead creatures can't have that. Not only that, her love interest may never find out about this! After all... who can love a demon?

Keri

Originating from the same desert as Sherry, but a lot younger, Keri is a vibrant Magic User. She controls the fire and often enjoys using it. Keri loves a good fight and has more energy than a busload of children. She is not hyperactive, but she is the one in front of there is a battle to be fought. Keri is in charge of the weapons on MorningSnow, which means she spends most of the day near her beloved fire!

Lyan

Birthday: Undecided
Hair colour: Ochre
Eye colour: Undecided
At the beginning of the story, Lyan is the youngest one of the tribe. Keri might love a good fight, Lyan is the one who starts them! Despite Lyan's noble heritage, the girl doesn't seem to know anything else than the way of metal. It is unclear how she got that passion, but it is for sure that her parents were not responsible for that.
Lyan's father did not die that long ago, leaving Lyan and her mother in charge of the estate and lands around it. However, Lyan's aunt, the sister of her father, realised this was her chance to finally get control of the reign. She stepped in and made Lyan and her mother guests in their own house. Realising that she could not get control as long as Lyan's mother and Lyan were alive, the aunt came up with a scheme. Lyan's mother would marry with the aunt's youngest brother and Lyan would marry the aunt's eldest son. Lyan's mother knew no way out and helped Lyan escape.
Lyan knows her mother is probably now remarried against her will and promised to free her one day, and get back what was rightfully her mother's. Lyan doesn't see the place as being hers; as long as her mother is alive, it's hers.

Misuteriasunako 'Teria' Terry Hamyti-Matokyng

Hair colour: Purple, but she later changes her DNA to add purple and blue stripes.
Eye colour: Orange
A girl filled with mystery. Her name means 'Mysterious Child' and she's more than meets the eye. She is the first child to be born in Sci-Fi, but also the biggest troublemaker of them all! Teria wants nothing more than to have a normal life and friends, but she is most aware of her duty. Teria loves fashion and spending time with her friends. Even though she sometimes hates to admit it, her mother is her best friend. Her biggest fear came true on Earth: she was seperated from her mother; taken away by those who claim to know what is best for her: The Children's Protection Agency.
