Past: Princess of Yalè

A legend out of the young years of the planet Seken. Is it truth; did it really happen? Or is nothing more than a sad, sad story? People share this story over and over, but don't all stories hold some sort of truth?
A castle is under siege and everyone needs to fight along. At the most important moment, the princess leaves the battlefield to protect the children of Yalè. Little does she know is that this one act seals their fate forever. The kingdom is now lost to the clutches of the attacking general and the princess and the children are the only survivors. What shall be their fate? Women were often forced into marriage but the princess refuses to give up. The men decide that if the general doesn't marry her, he should get rid of her. As long as she lives, she will be a threat to the kingdom.
But the general is mixed up. He keeps on postponing what is expected of him and the princess and the children adapt to their life as prisoners in their own home. Then, one day, the princess requests to speak with the general: One of the children's birthday is coming up, and she would like that child to spend that one day in the garden. It stays silent for a moment, but then the general propeses a deal... a deal the princess dislikes with all her heart...

Princess of Yalè; the story about a princess who would do anything to protect the last children of her kingdom.
