The result confirms what Hihoshi already feared: he cannot have any children as his wife is suddenly pregnant. Mayonaka has now the duty to give Hihoshi an heir, but to do that, she has to marry an important man...

- Ohayou, the sunny opposite of her mother, is now the Chieftess of the IceHunters. Hitori and French, two of her sisters, decide to leave the IceHunters. They find a tribe, almost lost to death and they bring the tribe back to life. The tribe is called 'Touched by Frozen War' (Nagasuta). When Hitori passes away, French puts down the reign they shared, and French's son Cargan takes the lead.
- After the sunny Ohayou, the rough Anzu took the lead. She is the wildest Chieftess of them all, and nicknamed 'The Huntress.' Half of the time she spends hunting; forgetting about her tribe...
- Anzu meets Keiji, a charming hunter. Anzu feels so good about this, that she assumes this is Sonaļ. Strangely enough Anzu gives birth to three sons: Crowan, Twan and Naku.
- Keiji shows his true face and Anzu has to make the most difficult decision in her life. She already lost her eldest son to Keiji, but in order to protect the throne, Anzu has to fight one last battle... and only one can survive.
- Twan can't face his mother any more now that she killed his father. Anzu has to carry the burden of death: she saw her oldest child die and had no choice but to kill the one she loved. Twan leaves the tribe, but Naku decides to stay.
- Anzu meets another young man: Jiro. She doesn't want to let anyone in at first, but submits herself to her heart... Sonaļ finally happens. Jiro and Anzu give birth to a girl: Hana, the next Chieftess.
- Hana is a wise girl, who really hates wolves; the creatures her mother loved! Hana instead loves to fish, gaining her the nickname 'The Mermaid'.
- There is a strange young man in MorningSnow; one who always kept his distance to Hana. This made Hana quite curious and eventually she can't help herself any more. The young man called Naku is now locked within her heart...
- No matter how hard Naku tries to push Hana away, she keeps on trying. She loves Naku and can't explain why. Is it Sonaļ? More and more is she getting convinced and Naku has no other choice but to confess he is her half-brother...
- Even though Hana now knows, she simply can't stop loving Naku. She has no desire to marry him, or anything else, but she loves him nonetheless. Then Jaroh comes along and he turns out to be her Sonaļ. Hana now has to choose and picks her Sonaļ, even though it's killing her heart. Jaroh can't stand to see his wife suffer and accepts the fact that Naku shall always be in her heart. Jaroh and Naku become best friends.
- Hana and Jaroh get a little girl with pink hair and blue eyes: Amai. Naku often acts like a second father.
- Amai is disgusted by her mother: she cannot have two lovers! While the whole tribe has accepted it, Amai simply cannot. To add to that, a new war appears and Hana's reign ends. Jaroh and Naku refuse to say goodbye yet and make sure their loved one is avenged as well as that MorningSnow is safe. The price they have to pay is not a high one for them: they are reunited with Hana.
- Yamashima, sister of Ohayou, is along with Italian the only one left from her generation. Desperate to find a purpose in life, she sets out for a journey to the desert: the place of wisdom according to the IceHunters. She eventually returns with three people/friends: Sun, Aerial and Duke. Yamashima has a crush on Duke, but is heartbroken when it turns out Duke is Italian's Sonaļ.
- Sun and Aerial get a son named Otter. Italian and Duke remain childless for a long time, until Yamashima finds out Otter is meant to be her Sonaļ! It hasn't been the first time someone saw her Sonaļ being born (Yume and Tenshi).
- Amai is worried she might die without an heir. Since Yamashima is the eldest of the six sisters, Amai asks Yamashima to be her 'safety'. If Amai dies without an heir, Yamashima's firstborn shall take the throne. Yamashima and Otter give birth to Cegea.
- Cegea is a bright girl, but has no respect for Amai. Eventually, the girl challenges Amai for the throne! Amai, who was always spoiled, prissy and never liked to get her hands dirty, accepts the challenge and wins! Cegea however, cannot live with the shame and leaves. She finds a tribe that lives of fishing. She takes the lead there, helping them in their hour of need, and names the tribe AquaLupa. Cegea falls in love with Taro.
- Yamashima gives birth to Saki, a promising young man. He picks wisdom over strength and wants to learn as much as possible. He wants to be just like his mother and sets out for a journey to the desert...
- Two children of Yamashima have already left and Amai and Italian are still childless. Then both Yamashima and Italian get a child at the same time. Yamashima gets Blue-Ming and Italian gets Chilli. The two girls are best friends, until Chilli finds her Sonaļ and leaves. Blue-Ming feels she has no reason to stay either and sets out on a journey for her own. She ends up being caught in a deadly current in a river, but gets saved by a girl who introduces herself as Whisper Shadowhunter. She is the heiress of the AquaLupa...
- Amai finally finds her Sonaļ in one of the last Fourth Generation tribemembers: Dustin and Yelle's son Merel. Amai gives birth to Tama. Not long after that Otter passes away; Italian and Duke already passed away before that. Yamashima has now seen her Sonaļ being born, grow up, find love as well as passing away.
- Amai gets pregnant for the second time, but during this pregnacy the Chieftess gets an illness. The baby is weak and assumed to die within a short while. Because they see the baby 'fading away', the girl gets the name Fade. However, Fade doesn't die and even though she's weak, she has a strong mind.
- Rhino is born as Amai's third child. The young man sees it as his duty to protect his older weaker sister.
- Amai has to go to battle one more time... Tama, the music loving heiress rises to the throne. In that same battle, Rhino was getting into deep trouble and Fade saved his life by giving him all her powers... the one thing that kept her alive for all those years.
