The biggest downside of peace is that it makes people restless. During peace, people finally have time to grow and follow their dreams. If that dream can be followed close to home, it would be a perfect outcome. But what if following your dream means leaving everything you have behind?

Matsuru knows Naraku doesn't need him any more; she lives her 'happily ever after' as much as possible. This caused Matsuru to have more and more dreams about an unknown girl far away from him. She's waiting for him; all he has to do is find her. Matsuru decides to leave, but how will Naraku react to the news that her mentor, her 'father' may never return?

To add to that, the High Ones have decided to put Naraku to the test. If she fails, she will have to pay it with her life. Naraku doesn't care; her own life is nothing compaired to the lives of her friends. She also decides she doesn't want to fight, but that choice turns out... to be not an option at all.
