After the great war in book 1, the group of friends have returned to Castle MorningSnow. They are now a tribe called The IceHunters, with the mystical Naraku as their leader. The girl still has a lot to learn, but you can count on her to help whenever needed.

Some secrets have yet to be revealed. Mayonaka has tried to hide from her past for years, but now there is no way she can avoid is any more. The question is not if she can cope with it; she had no other choice than to return and face her past. The question is: what will she do when she finds out she's not welcome?

The tribe splits up to accompany Mayonaka home. Curious as ever, Naraku wants to learn as much as possible. However, she finds out more than she bargained for... especially when she finds out a strange woman is set on killing her. She doesn't care which way Naraku's life shall be ended; as long as the girl dies, she'll be happy.
